Now that you have planned the perfect quinceañera, you have to sell your plans to the Garcia family!  Decide how you will present your plans.  You must incorporate a visual aid into your oral presentation of the material.  You can choose to do something traditional, like a poster, or you may use electronic media such as PowerPoint, a webpage, publisher, video, etc.

Each of you should be able to discuss what a quinceañera is and some of the most important traditions associated with this special event in the life of a Hispanic girl.  You also should learn how to compromise when working with other members of a team in order to stay within the constraints of the project. 

In addition to the Internet, you may use magazines, newspapers, books, and television as resources.  You may have seen the show "My Super Sweet 16" on MTV; sometimes they even showcase quinces as part of the show. 

Make your quinceañera the party of the year!
